The Thayer Conservation Foundation seeks to conserve the natural resources of Thayer forests, woods, meadows, fields and Gardens.
The Foundation: The Thayer Conservation Foundation (“TCF”) is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization(1) devoted to the preservation of open land in New England. Founded in 2019, TCF has four trustees, two directors and three officers. TCF seeks to conserve the natural resources of New England and more specifically the Thayer Lands in New England including forests, woods, meadows, fields and gardens.
TCF is acquiring over 140 acres of Thayer forests and 20 acres of gardens. All of this land will be protected from development and remain in its natural state forever. Once a property or a conservation restriction on a property is acquired by TCF, it is never relinquished.
